Receipt changes can sync through a private iCloud household after an explicit QR invite. Both iPhones can see shared saved receipts, reviewed categories, monthly totals, and the household’s essential or optional choices.

What does it cost for two people?

In the US, two separate subscriptions cost $9.98/month or $79.98/year in total. If Apple Family Sharing grants access to both iPhones, one subscription costs $4.99/month or $39.99/year. In the UK, two separate subscriptions cost £9.98/month or £79.98/year; eligible Apple Family Sharing can cover both iPhones with one £4.99/month or £39.99/year subscription. Confirm access on the second iPhone before purchasing another plan.

Two iPhones can share one grocery history through iCloud. A QR invite shares the data; each iPhone also needs subscription access through its own purchase or eligible Apple Family Sharing.

How two-phone sharing works

Connect deliberately, then verify the sync.

Create a fresh invite.
On the owner iPhone, open Settings → My household. The QR invite is valid for 15 minutes.
Scan it on the second iPhone.
The supported setup needs iOS 18 or later, iCloud, internet access, and a different Apple ID on each phone.
Review the join.
Radish downloads the household’s latest receipts before the joining phone contributes its existing saved receipts.
Check the connection.
The household screen shows two connected phones, the most recent sync, or whether synchronization needs attention.

Privacy boundary

The invitation is explicit. The saved household snapshot is sealed.

Radish seals the saved household snapshot through its auditable privacy core before iCloud sync. The invited phone validates the household data before committing it locally.

Do couples need a joint bank account to use Radish?

No. Radish does not connect to a bank account or transaction feed. The household view comes from the grocery receipts you review and save.

Can both partners add grocery receipts?

Yes—once each iPhone has subscription access, either through its own subscription or eligible Apple Family Sharing. Reviewed receipts saved on either connected phone can sync into the household when iCloud sync is available. The QR invite itself shares grocery data, not an App Store subscription.

Can both iPhones use the same Apple ID?

No. The supported two-phone setup uses different Apple IDs, plus iCloud and internet access on both iPhones.

Can three or more phones join one Radish household?

No. The current household boundary is two iPhones.

Does the household QR share a Radish subscription?

No. The QR shares grocery data. Apple Family Sharing is separate and applies only when Apple marks the product and account eligible.

Is household synchronization always immediate?

No. Radish shows connection and last-sync status, but synchronization depends on iCloud, internet access, and Apple service availability.

What happens when a couple stops sharing?

Future receipt changes stop syncing. Receipts already saved on either phone remain there, and Radish cannot erase the other phone’s copies.
