The example uses the current 30-column v1 schema with three invented items from “Sample Market.” Its $12.50 subtotal plus $0.50 tax equals the $13.00 receipt total.

What the preview omits: the download also includes receipt IDs, date, store, currency, receipt totals, raw receipt text, taxonomy version, and allocation policy. It contains no receipt photo. Receipt totals repeat across item rows: count each receipt_id once when summing receipt_total, and keep USD and GBP separate. Use line_amount for item-level totals; allocated charges are separate columns.

Direct answer

Yes—Radish exports reviewed grocery history as structured CSV rows.

Every saved item becomes a row with its receipt, category, Essential or Optional choice, currency, and two-decimal amounts. Currency is retained from each receipt; the export does not convert currencies. A saved receipt without items receives one receipt-only row.

For the full saved history, open Settings → Data export and choose a destination in the iOS share sheet. For a PDF summary of one selected month, use Monthly report in Spending. CSV and monthly PDF serve different purposes; neither is a backup or restore file.

From receipt to file

Review first. Export second.

Add a receipt.
After permission, scan up to four receipt photos through Radish’s disclosed processing service—or enter the receipt by hand.
Correct the draft.
Review the store, date, total, item names, raw text, prices, categories, and household choices.
Save the record.
Only confirmed receipts become part of the saved purchase history that the export reads.
Choose a destination.
Open Settings → Data export → Export purchase history (CSV), then use the iOS share sheet.

Exact v1 contract

All 30 CSV columns, in export order.

The app emits UTF-8 CSV with a header row, CRLF line endings, standard comma-and-quote escaping, and protection against spreadsheet-formula prefixes in text fields. The format follows the common RFC 4180 CSV conventions.

User-controlled export

Nothing leaves the export screen until you choose where it goes.

The app prepares the CSV only after you open Data export. The iOS system share sheet is the handoff point; after you select a destination, that destination’s privacy, security, and retention rules apply.

The CSV contains purchase details. Treat it as private household data, review the destination, and remove copies you no longer need. Read the Radish Privacy Policy for the separate saved-data, household-sync, and receipt-processing boundaries.

Can Radish turn a grocery receipt into CSV?

Yes, after you review and save the receipt. Radish exports the complete saved purchase history as one item-level CSV, rather than exporting only one selected receipt.

Does the CSV include individual grocery items?

Yes. Each saved item becomes a row with its name, raw receipt text, category, spending choice, amount, and related receipt fields.

Does the CSV include receipt photos?

No. The CSV contains structured receipt and item fields, not image files.

Can I export only one receipt?

No. The current export creates one file for the complete saved purchase history.

Can I import the CSV back into Radish?

No. The CSV is independently readable, but it is not a Radish backup or restore file.

Is the CSV a tax or accounting report?

No. It is a human-readable purchase-history export, not tax, legal, financial, or accounting advice.

Is receipt scanning required before export?

No. You can enter a receipt by hand, review it, and save it. Manual entry remains available without granting receipt-scanning permission.
