Radish saves reviewed purchase details. From 1.15.0, original photos can be kept on this iPhone by choice, without backup or household sync. Keep the paper receipt when you need the original.
Search proof
Search the saved text that can lead you back to a receipt.
Radish normalizes the query and looks across the saved store name, item display names, and original item text. Every search token must appear in that combined record. The search field is for stores or items, not a formatted-date search or semantic AI search.

Direct answer
A saved Radish receipt is an editable record—not a photo vault.
The record keeps the store, receipt date, printed total, line items, item prices, reviewed categories, and confirmed essential or optional choices together. From Radish 1.15.0, you can choose to keep original receipt photos on this iPhone; they are excluded from backups and household sync. It does not find purchases you did not add or replace accounting, tax, warranty, or expense-report software.
What gets organized
From one reviewed draft to a maintainable household record.
Receipt identity
Keep the store, local receipt date, currency, and printed total attached to the saved record.
Line-item detail
Keep item names, original printed item text, line amounts, categories, and confirmed household choices together.
Store and month views
Choose a month, group receipts by store and currency, and see receipt counts and same-currency totals.
Underlying receipt
Open a store group, reach each receipt, and inspect or correct the item rows behind the total.
Sorting controls
Sort store groups by spend, name, receipt count, or recency. Sort receipt lists by date, total, or store name.
Correct or delete the record you intended to change.
1
Open the store group.
Choose a month and store/currency group, then open the individual receipt.
2
Edit the saved receipt.
Correct its details and amounts. A confirmed name, category, or Essential or Optional choice can be reused for the matching item family; a later family choice can change the current classification shown across matching history.
3
Delete one receipt.
Remove the selected saved receipt and its items. In a shared household, that deletion can sync when available.
4
Delete all receipts separately.
This removes saved receipts and Spending items and can sync through iCloud when available, but another phone may not converge immediately. Saved store names and item-family choices remain. Service records, analytics already received, provider requests, and Apple records have separate controls and retention boundaries.
Export the complete saved history as item-level CSV.
Radish creates one UTF-8 CSV with a fixed 30-column contract and one row per saved item, or one receipt-only row when a receipt has no items. It exports the complete saved history—not one selected receipt or a copy of the receipt photo.
The CSV is not a Radish backup or restore file, tax record, accounting ledger, or promise that every original receipt was captured.
Grocery receipt organizer FAQ
Can I search grocery receipts by item or store?
Yes. Radish searches saved store names, item names, and original item text. You can also choose a month and open a store group to reach individual receipts.
Can I edit an old grocery receipt?
Yes. Open a saved receipt and choose Edit receipt to correct its details and items. Receipt amounts stay with that receipt; a confirmed name, category, or Essential or Optional choice can be reused for its matching item family, and a later family choice can change the current classification shown across matching history.
Can I delete grocery receipts?
Yes. You can delete one receipt or all receipts. The deletion can sync through iCloud when available, but timing and convergence on another phone are not guaranteed. Delete all receipts leaves saved store names and item-family choices in place; receipt-service records, analytics already received, Apple purchases, and provider requests have separate controls and retention boundaries.
Does Radish export receipt history?
Yes. Data export creates one 30-column item-level CSV for the complete saved history. It is not a backup or restore file, tax record, or accounting system.
Does Radish find receipts I did not add?
No. Radish does not import a bank feed, email inbox, or retailer account. Its history contains only the receipts your household scans or enters, reviews, and saves.
